According to general consumer feedback the best GPS navigation systems are as follows Garmin, Magellan & TomTom. Lets take a look at what put each one of these GPS units at the head of their class for best GPS.

Garmin GPS:  Very easy to use Garmin gps has a very peopole friendly interface.  With a touch screen, and very few buttons Garmin GPS, especially the NUVI series make for a great asset to any trip.  You can use Garmin find detours to account for traffic congestion.  It also gives you real time updates on how far away you are from your selected destination.

Magellan GPS:  Great electronics, and very durbale.  Magellan are a top competitor and excellent manufacturer of GPS systems.  Their GPS units have very easy to use interfaces.

TomTom:  TomTom GPS have very good GPS accuracy and usability.  They have a little more of a European feel to them, but very good for use in your car.  They also have lots of cool and innovative features.
