TomTom GPS is a public european company and manufacturer of GPS navigation systems.  TomTom is located in Amsterdam and has the slogan “the smart choice in personal navigation.”  TomTom makes both GPS navigation units as well as GPS navigation software.  TomTom uses both visual and audio to help people navigate to their desired locations.  TomTom also offers overhead views also known as “bird’s eye view” of the individuals unit in relation to their surrounding environment.
